Hello 2017!

I love the word HELLO, it’s simple but also hopeful. It’s the first thing we say when we answer the phone, or when we meet with people. As we face the first Monday of the year, let us greet it with excitement and hope. 2016 may have been rough but those of us still living and breathing are given a chance for a clean slate, no judgment.

This year my goal is to explore, expand, educate, and ultimately inspire others. And here are 4 things that I will be saying hello to in 2017:

  1. Explore my (local) world
I want to spend this year experiencing, with my family, all of the beauty that California has to offer.
  2. Expand my vocabulary
My husband Steve recently showed me this website curated by subject matter experts for entrepreneurs and business-minded people who want to gain and retain knowledge (mentorbox). I also signed up for e-kindle to gain access to many different types of books. I’ve made it a goal to read 20 books in 2017 and I know having these two sources will really help.
  3. Pursue different interests
I have always wanted to learn calligraphy, bake (and also design cakes). This year will be the best time to learn all of that.
  4. Finally, I am inspired to share the coming journey that this year will give me so that others can learn from me, but also so I can learn from others.

Let us all step into 2017…

…and say hello with a hopeful heart, positive mind, and a faith that will move mountains.
